In September, vehicle registrations in Canada fell by 5.97% with respect to September of 1952. In total, 30,029 cars were registered and 467,843 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 25.09% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of September is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 7,534, 21.5% less than in September of 1952.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 22,495, which represents a figure of 0.7% more than in September of 1952.
