In July, vehicle registrations in Canada fell by 33.37% with respect to July of 1950. In total, 29,260 cars were registered and 441,312 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 16.35% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of July is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 8,551, 21.63% less than in July of 1950.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 20,709, which represents a figure of 37.25% less than in July of 1950.
