In 2014 Lithuania public debt was 14,828 million euros19,700 million dollars, has increased 1,2771,704 million since 2013.
This amount means that the debt in 2014 reached 40.5% of Lithuania GDP, a 1.8 percentage point rise from 2013, when it was 38.7% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Lithuania debt. It has risen since 2004 in global debt terms, when it was 3,405 million euros 4,228 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 18.7%.
According to the last data point published, Lithuania per capita debt in 2014 was 5,076 euros6,744 dollars per inhabitant. In 2013 it was 4,604 euros 6,114 dollars, afterwards rising by 472 euros630 dollars, and if we again check 2004 we can see that then the debt per person was 1,015 euros1,260 dollars .
The position of Lithuania, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2014 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 95 in the list of debt to GDP and 141 in debt per capita, out of the 191 we publish.
