In 2021 Latvia public debt was 14,809 million euros17,775 million dollars, has increased 1,9403,224 million since 2020.
This amount means that the debt in 2021 reached 44.4% of Latvia GDP, a 1.7 percentage point rise from 2020, when it was 42.7% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Latvia debt. It has risen since 2011 in global debt terms, when it was 8,949 million euros 12,346 million dollars although it has fallen as a percentage of GDP, when it amounted to 45.1%.

In 2020 it was 6,798 euros 7,686 dollars, afterwards rising by 1,097 euros1,790 dollars, and if we again check 2011 we can see that then the debt per person was 4,376 euros6,038 dollars .
