In 2018 Costa Rica public debt was 27,388 million euros32,359 million dollars, has increased 2,1673,877 million since 2017.
This amount means that the debt in 2018 reached 51.84% of Costa Rica GDP, a 4.78 percentage point rise from 2017, when it was 47.06% of GDP.
