In 2018 Armenia public debt was 5,402 million euros6,383 million dollars, has decreased 80192 million since 2017.
This amount means that the debt in 2018 reached 51.23% of Armenia GDP, a 2.47 percentage point fall from 2017, when it was 53.7% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Armenia debt. It has risen since 2008 in global debt terms, when it was 1,160 million euros 1,706 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 14.63%.
According to the last data point published, Armenia per capita debt in 2018 was 1,822 euros2,152 dollars per inhabitant. In 2017 it was 1,844 euros 2,082 dollars, afterwards dropping by 22 euros 70dollars, and if we again check 2008 we can see that then the debt per person was 358 euros527 dollars .
The position of Armenia, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2018 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 103 in the list of debt to GDP and 86 in debt per capita, out of the 191 we publish.
