This amount means that the debt in 2018 reached 86.06% of Argentina GDP, a 28.95 percentage point rise from 2017, when it was 57.11% of GDP.

According to the last data point published, Argentina per capita debt in 2018 was 8,492 euros10,029 dollars per inhabitant. In 2017 it was 7,378 euros 8,334 dollars, afterwards rising by 1,114 euros1,695 dollars, and if we again check 2008 we can see that then the debt per person was 3,347 euros4,923 dollars .
The position of Argentina, as compared with the rest of the world, has worsened in 2018 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 158 in the list of debt to GDP and 145 in debt per capita, out of the 186 we publish.
