In 2017 Argentina public debt was 325,183 million euros 447,059 million dollars, has increased 58,21879,699 million since 2016.
This amount means that the debt in 2018 reached 86.29% of Argentina GDP, a 29.18 percentage point rise from 2017, when it was 57.11% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Argentina debt. It has risen since 2007 in global debt terms, when it was 130,518 million euros 195,515 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 53.81%.
According to the last data point published, Argentina per capita debt in 2018 was 8,583 euros10,048 dollars per inhabitant. In 2017 it was 7,378 euros 8,335 dollars, afterwards rising by 1,205 euros1,713 dollars, and if we again check 2008 we can see that then the debt per person was 3,345 euros4,919 dollars .
The position of Argentina, as compared with the rest of the world, has worsened in 2018 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 158 in the list of debt to GDP and 145 in debt per capita, out of the 186 we publish.
