In 2024 Armenia public debt was 11,984 million euros12,967 million dollars, has increased 703765 million since 2023.
This amount means that the debt in 2024 reached 49.96% of Armenia GDP, a 0.49 percentage point fall from 2023, when it was 50.45% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Armenia debt. It has risen since 2014 in global debt terms, when it was 3,812 million euros 5,066 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 43.63%.
According to the last data point published, Armenia per capita debt in 2024 was 3,896 euros4,215 dollars per inhabitant. In 2023 it was 3,772 euros 4,079 dollars, afterwards rising by 124 euros136 dollars, and if we again check 2014 we can see that then the debt per person was 1,266 euros1,683 dollars .
The position of Armenia, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2024 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 85 in the list of debt to GDP and 104 in debt per capita, out of the 192 we publish.
