Sierra Leone is in 11º place in the ranking of transparency

The transparency law of Sierra Leone has been in force since 2013 and with it has earned 122 points in the Global Right to Information Rating (RTI Rating). With that score Sierra Leone is ranked 11, as its transparency law adequately guarantees access to information, when compared with other countries.

This index ranks countries giving them a score of 0-150 depending on the strength of its legal framework which guarantees the right to information.
