The transparency law of Lithuania has been in force since 1996 and with it has earned 64 points in the Global Right to Information Rating (RTI Rating). With that score Lithuania ranks at number 97, de los 111 del RTI Rating. It is one of the countries with legislation less prone to guaranteeing the right to information.
This index ranks countries giving them a score of 0-150 depending on the strength of its legal framework which guarantees the right to information.
