Guatemala is at the 51º position of the Global Right to Information Rating

The transparency law of Guatemala has been in force since 2008 and with it has earned 94 points in the Global Right to Information Rating (RTI Rating). With that score Guatemala is now ranked 51 in the transparency ranking formed by 123 countries, meaning it is among those that must improve its laws in order to guarantee access to information.

This index ranks countries giving them a score of 0-150 depending on the strength of its legal framework which guarantees the right to information.
