The price of electricity rises in the Czech Republic

The average price of electricity in the Czech Republic, in June of 2011, has been 0.1659€ per kilowatt hour. Electricity price has increased € 0.011 kWh, 7.1% since the previous semester. Meanwhile, the average price of electricity without taxes in the Czech Republic in that period was € 0.1372 per kilowatt hour, compared to € 0.1279 kWh in the previous semester. The price of electricity excluding taxes increased by 7.27%.

In the last twelve months the price of electricity in the Czech Republic has increased by 11%.

In the Czech Republic, the price of electricity reached its maximum price, € 0.1659kWh, in June of 2011. Its minimum price was €0.1144 kWh, corresponding to June of 2007.
