CO2 emissions, in Viet Nam in 2015, have grown 21.891 megatons, 12.19% compared to 2014.
CO2 emissions in 2015 were 201.508 megatons, making Viet Nam is the 157th conutry in the ranking of countries for CO2 emissions, made up of 184 countries, in which the countries are ranked from least to most pollutant.
In addition to its total emissions of CO2 into the atmospher, which logically depend, among other variables, on the country's population, it is convenient to analyze the behavior of its emissions per inhabitant. In the table we see that per capita CO2 emissions in Viet Nam, have increased in 2015, in which they have been 2.15 tons per inhabitant.
If you look at evolution f CO2 emissions per 1000 dollars of GDP, which measures, for the same country, the "environmental efficiency" with which it is produced over time. In the last period, Viet Nam, has emitted 0.27 kilos for every $ 1,000 of GDP, more than in 2014.
