In Saint Kitts and Nevis, CO2 emissions during 2015 have remained the same as in 2014.
CO2 emissions in 2015 were 0.096 megatons, making Saint Kitts and Nevis is in the group of low-polluting countries, mainly due to its small population, within the ranking of countries for CO2 emissions, made up of 184 countries, in which the countries are ranked from least to most pollutant.
In addition to its total emissions of CO2 into the atmospher, which logically depend, among other variables, on the country's population, it is convenient to analyze the behavior of its emissions per inhabitant. In the table we see that per capita CO2 emissions in Saint Kitts and Nevis, have decreased in 2015, in which they have been 1.77 tons per inhabitant.
Finally, it is interesting to observe the behavior f CO2 emissions per 1000 dollars of GDP, which measures, for the same country, the "environmental efficiency" with which it is produced over time. In the last period, Saint Kitts and Nevis, has emitted 0.07 kilos for every $ 1,000 of GDP, the same as in 2014.
