In addition to its total emissions of CO2 into the atmospher, which logically depend, among other variables, on the country's population, it is convenient to analyze the behavior of its emissions per inhabitant. In the table we see that per capita CO2 emissions in Guinea-Bissau, have not changed in 2016, in which they have been 0.2 tons per inhabitant.
Guinea-Bissau is one of the countries with the lowest CO2 emissions per inhabitant.
Regarding evolution f CO2 emissions per 1000 dollars of GDP, which measures, for the same country, the "environmental efficiency" with which it is produced over time. In the last period, Guinea-Bissau, has emitted 0.11 kilos for every $ 1,000 of GDP, a lower figure than in 2015.
