Growth of believers and Christianity in Zambia

Christianity, with 81.94% of the population, is the religion of the majority of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 99.79%, confess to having religious feelings.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Zambia population, has increase to 99.79%. As to Christianity it has also increased, the previous survey recorded 79.32% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 81.94% follow it.

The Zambia’s second-largest religion is Animist Religions, accounts for about 15.21% of the population.
