Uruguay - Religions

Christianity is the Uruguay's top religion, around 69% of the population. A great percentage of population, 78.06%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Uruguay population, has dropped to 78.06%. As to Christianity it has also decreased, the previous survey recorded 70.86% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 69% follow it.

Other Religions is the second most practiced religion in Uruguay, accounts for about 9.06% of the population.
