Sudan - Religions

Islam, with 70.28% of the population, is the religion of the majority of the population. The entire population, 100%, confess to having religious feelings.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Sudan population, has remained to 100%. As to Islam it has decreased, the previous survey recorded 71.65% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 70.28% follow it.

The Sudan’s second-largest religion is Animist Religions, accounts for about 24.23% of the population.
