Mali - Religions

Islam is the Mali's top religion, around 79.57% of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 99.92%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Mali population, has dropped to 99.92%. As to Islam it has increased, the previous survey recorded 75.67% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 79.57% follow it.

Animist Religions is the second most practiced religion in Mali, accounts for about 18.99% of the population.
