In 1975 occurred 395 suicides in Norway. This year, 19 fewer people committed suicide than in 1974. In Norway, on average, at least one suicide happens every day.

Norway had 9.9 suicides per 100,000 inhabitants, less than the average suicide in the world, of 12.15 self-harm per 100.000 people.

Norway, has a relatively low rate of suicide per inhabitants.

Of the 395 recorded suicide cases in 1975, 283 were men suicides and 112 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 14.2 per 100,000 men and for women 5.6 per 100,000 female.
