Suicides fell in Iceland

By 1981, suicides in Iceland increased by 8 people to at 16 suicides

In Iceland there were 6.9 suicides per 100,000 inhabitants, much less than the average suicide in the world, of 15.3 self-harm per 100.000 people.

Iceland has a low suicide rate compared to other countries.

Of the 16 recorded suicide cases in 1981, 12 were men suicides and 4 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 10.3 per 100,000 men and for women 3.5 per 100,000 female.
