Iceland, has a relatively low rate of suicide per inhabitants.
Of the 30 recorded suicide cases in 1979, 26 were men suicides and 4 were women. Men have a very high rate of death by suicide compared with women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 22.8 per 100,000 men and for women 3.6 per 100,000 female.
