Suicides remained unchanged in Iceland

In 1975 around 22 suicides occurred in Iceland, as occurred in 1974.

Iceland reported 10.1 suicides per 100,000 inhabitants, less than the average suicide in the world, of 12.15 self-harm per 100.000 people.

Iceland, has a relatively low rate of suicide per inhabitants.

Of the 22 recorded suicide cases in 1975, 14 were men suicides and 8 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 12.7 per 100,000 men and for women 7.4 per 100,000 female.
