Life expectancy falls in Germany

In 2020 the life expectancy in Germany decreased to 81.1 years.

That year, the life expectancy for women was 83.5 years and for men 78.7 years.

Germany’s position improvened with respect to the 194 countries we publish life expectancy, dropping from the 32th in 2019 to 28th in 2020.
