Life expectancy improves in Germany

In 2023 the life expectancy in Germany increased to 81.1 years.

That year, the life expectancy for women was 83.5 years and for men 78.7 years.

Germany’s position improvened with respect to the 194 countries we publish life expectancy, dropping from the 34th in 2022 to 33th in 2023.
