Zimbabwe: CPI goes up in August of 2022

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Zimbabwe in August of 2022 was 353%, 440 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 14.3%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2022 is 255.1%

We must highlight the increase of 15.6% in the prices of Clothing and footwear, until its interannual rate reached 232.3%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Communication of 5.8%, and an interannual variation of 74.6%.
