The annual variation rate of the CPI in Trinidad and Tobago in December of 2016 was 3.1%, 3 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.3%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2016 is 3.1%

We must highlight the increase of 1.7% in the prices of Health, until its interannual rate reached 15.5%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Alcoholic beverages and tobacco of -0.5%, and an interannual variation of 4.7%.
