Tanzanians CPI goes down to 7.5%

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Tanzania in July of 2013 was 7.5%, 1 tenth less than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2013 is 2.6%

We must highlight the increase of 3.5% in the prices of Alcoholic beverages and tobacco, until its interannual rate reached 12%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages of -0.2%, and an interannual variation of 8%.
