CPI falls in July of 2009 in Switzerland

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Switzerland in July of 2009 was -1.2%, 3 tenths less than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been -0.7%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2009 is -0.4%

We must highlight the increase of 0.3% in the prices of Alcoholic beverages and tobacco, until its interannual rate reached 3.2%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Clothing and footwear of -10.8%, and an interannual variation of 2.3%.
