The annual variation rate of the CPI in Mexico in April of 1980 was 24.5%, 10 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 1.8%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 1980 is 11.4%

We must highlight the increase of 3.3% in the prices of Transport, until its interannual rate reached 18.9%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Health of 0.5%, and an interannual variation of 22.9%.
