The annual variation rate of the CPI in Latvia in May of 2023 was 12.1%, 30 tenths less than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 1.3%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2023 is 3.5%

We must highlight the increase of 6.5% in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, until its interannual rate reached 24.8%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Transport of -2.3%, and an interannual variation of -7.7%.
