The annual variation rate of the CPI in Ghana in August of 2024 was 20.4%, 6 tenths less than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been -0.7%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2024 is 14.4%

We must highlight the increase of 2.4% in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, until its interannual rate reached 31.8%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages of -2.2%, and an interannual variation of 19.1%.
