The annual variation rate of the CPI in Egypt in January of 2014 was 11.3%, 276 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 35.4%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2014 is 35.4%

We must highlight the increase of 38.3% in the prices of Alcoholic beverages and tobacco, until its interannual rate reached 0.5%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Education of -27.7%, and an interannual variation of 3.8%.
