The annual variation rate of the CPI in Egypt in September of 2012 was 6.2%, 2 tenths less than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 1.2%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2012 is 5.1%

We must highlight the increase of 2.2% in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, until its interannual rate reached 2.7%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Alcoholic beverages and tobacco of 0%, and an interannual variation of 8.8%.
