The annual variation rate of the CPI in Costa Rica in December of 2020 was 0.9%, 7 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.5%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2020 is 0.9%

We must highlight the increase of 2.4% in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages, until its interannual rate reached 3.8%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Transport of -0.9%, and an interannual variation of 0.2%.
