Brazil: CPI goes up in October of 2010

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Brazil in October of 2010 was 5.4%, 7 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.9%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2010 is 4.7%

We must highlight the increase of 2.2% in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages, until its interannual rate reached 7.8%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Education of 0%, and an interannual variation of 6.1%.
