The annual variation rate of the CPI in Brazil in January of 2010 was 4.4%, 3 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.9%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2010 is 0.9%

We must highlight the increase of 2.4% in the prices of Transport, until its interannual rate reached 4.5%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Communication of 0%, and an interannual variation of 0.6%.
