In October, vehicle registrations in Luxembourg grew by 8.75% with respect to October of 1998. In total, 3,379 cars were registered and 44,609 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 15.54% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of October is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 349, 15.95% more than in October of 1998.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 3,030, which represents a figure of 7.98% more than in October of 1998.
