In January, vehicle registrations in Luxembourg grew by 28.59% with respect to January of 1998. In total, 3,472 cars were registered and 40,336 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 16.59% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of January is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 389, 37.46% more than in January of 1998.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 3,083, which represents a figure of 27.55% more than in January of 1998.
