In February, vehicle registrations in Luxembourg grew by 17.76% with respect to February of 1998. In total, 4,728 cars were registered and 41,049 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 18.83% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of February is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 334, 1.76% less than in February of 1998.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 4,394, which represents a figure of 19.56% more than in February of 1998.
