The minimum wage goes up in Switzerland

In 2020, the national minimum wage in Switzerland remained fixed at €3,670.2 per month, that is 44,042 euros per year, taking into account 12 payments per year.

If we look at the minimum salary in Swiss francs, which is the official currency in Switzerland, we can see that, this year, it was 3,983.6 Swiss francs and accordingly, the national minimum wage has been raised 207.4 Swiss francs per month from the previous year, 5.49%. This increase is greater than the CPI of 2019 which was 0.2%, so workers have gained buying power in the last year.
