Since June 2008, the national minimum wage in Slovakia remained fixed at €269.8 per month, that is 3,238 euros per year, taking into account 12 payments per year.
Accordingly the national minimum wage has remained stable, while the CPI of 2008 which was 3.4%, so workers have lost purchasing power in the last year.
If we look at the ranking of the national minimum wage that we publish, Slovakia is in 30 nd place of the 90 of the list.
