In 2008, the national minimum wage in Estonia remained fixed at €278 per month, that is 3,336 euros per year, taking into account 12 payments per year.
Accordingly the national minimum wage has been raised 47.9 Euros per month from the previous year, 20.82%. This increase is greater than the CPI of 2007 which was 9.6%, so workers have gained buying power in the last year.
