In 2015 Vietnam public debt was 98,292 million euros 109,055 million dollars, has increased 21,3366,818 million since 2014.
This amount means that the debt in 2015 reached 56.97% of Vietnam GDP, a 1.96 percentage point rise from 2014, when it was 55.01% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Vietnam debt. It has risen since 2005 in global debt terms, when it was 16,910 million euros 21,037 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 36.54%.
According to the last data point published, Vietnam per capita debt in 2015 was 1,072 euros1,189 dollars per inhabitant. In 2014 it was 848 euros 1,127 dollars, afterwards rising by 224 euros62 dollars, and if we again check 2005 we can see that then the debt per person was 205 euros255 dollars .
The position of Vietnam, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2015 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 114 in the list of debt to GDP and 66 in debt per capita, out of the 185 we publish.
