Germany national debt goes up

In 2024 Germany public debt was 2,688,879 million euros2,976,249 million dollars, has increased 56,775129,770 million since 2023.

This amount means that the debt in 2024 reached 62.5% of Germany GDP, a 0.4 percentage point fall from 2023, when it was 62.9% of GDP.

If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Germany debt. It has risen since 2014 in global debt terms, when it was 2,224,560 million euros 2,956,090 million dollars although it has fallen as a percentage of GDP, when it amounted to 74.5%.
