In 2015 Fiji public debt was 1,905 million euros 2,114 million dollars, has increased 33833 million since 2014.
This amount means that the debt in 2015 reached 48.47% of Fiji GDP, a 2.04 percentage point rise from 2014, when it was 46.43% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Fiji debt. It has risen since 2005 in global debt terms, when it was 1,150 million euros 1,431 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 47.65%.
According to the last data point published, Fiji per capita debt in 2015 was 2,193 euros2,433 dollars per inhabitant. In 2014 it was 1,809 euros 2,404 dollars, afterwards rising by 384 euros29 dollars, and if we again check 2005 we can see that then the debt per person was 1,393 euros1,733 dollars .
The position of Fiji, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2015 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 95 in the list of debt to GDP and 94 in debt per capita, out of the 184 we publish.
