In 2017 Finland public debt was 137,286 million euros 155,092 million dollars, has increased 1,2954,564 million since 2016.
This amount means that the debt in 2017 reached 61.4% of Finland GDP, a 1.7 percentage point fall from 2016, when it was 63.1% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Finland debt. It has risen since 2007 in global debt terms, when it was 63,425 million euros 86,924 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 34%.
According to the last data point published, Finland per capita debt in 2017 was 24,946 euros28,182 dollars per inhabitant. In 2016 it was 24,711 euros 27,352 dollars, afterwards rising by 235 euros830 dollars, and if we again check 2007 we can see that then the debt per person was 11,966 euros16,399 dollars .
The position of Finland, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2017 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 123 in the list of debt to GDP and 171 in debt per capita, out of the 185 we publish.
