In 2017 Albania public debt was 8,310 million euros 10,427 million dollars, has increased 4501,040 million since 2016.
This amount means that the debt in 2018 reached 68.59% of Albania GDP, a 3.28 percentage point fall from 2017, when it was 71.87% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Albania debt. It has risen since 2007 in global debt terms, when it was 4,171 million euros 7,109 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 55.14%.
According to the last data point published, Albania per capita debt in 2018 was 3,046 euros3,633 dollars per inhabitant. In 2017 it was 2,895 euros 3,271 dollars, afterwards rising by 151 euros362 dollars, and if we again check 2008 we can see that then the debt per person was 1,646 euros2,421 dollars .
The position of Albania, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2018 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 138 in the list of debt to GDP and 109 in debt per capita, out of the 186 we publish.
