This amount means that the debt in 2021 reached 62.99% of Algeria GDP, a 10.72 percentage point rise from 2020, when it was 52.27% of GDP.

The position of Algeria, as compared with the rest of the world, has worsened in 2021 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 107 in the list of debt to GDP and 80 in debt per capita, out of the 190 we publish.
