Sri Lanka 4º in the RTI Rating

The transparency law of Sri Lanka has been in force since 2016 and with it has earned 131 points in the Global Right to Information Rating (RTI Rating). With that score Sri Lanka is in one of the top positions of the ranking, as it is a country with a good legislative framework in relation to transparency and access to information.

This index ranks countries giving them a score of 0-150 depending on the strength of its legal framework which guarantees the right to information.
